Top 20 vs top 30

What ranking depth means when configuring a Google search engine in RankWatch.

When you attach Google to a project, you choose how deep RankWatch looks into the SERP for each keyword check.

Depth explained

DepthMeaning
Top 20Positions 1–20 are resolved. Keywords beyond 20 may appear as unranked / out of range.
Top 30Positions 1–30 are resolved. Slightly more coverage for deeper competitive terms.

Deeper checks can use more quota per keyword run. Prefer top 20 when most keywords already rank on page one or two; use top 30 when you need visibility into page-three movement.

What it does not change

Depth does not change your keyword list, competitors, or report cadence by itself — it only changes how far each check job reads the SERP.
