Via job tracking means RankWatch measures rankings through scheduled check jobs rather than a continuous live stream.

How it works

  1. Keywords in the project are queued according to their schedule and engine settings.
  2. A job runs against Google (locale/device as configured).
  3. Positions and SERP features are stored and shown on dashboards and reports.

Paused keywords are skipped by subsequent jobs until resumed. See How to pause one keyword.

Why jobs matter

Jobs give predictable cost and cadence, support retries on transient failures, and keep historical series aligned to check timestamps instead of ad-hoc refreshes.
