Create a project with multiple search engines

Step-by-step guide to create a RankWatch project and attach more than one search engine.

Prerequisites

  • Workspace membership with project.create
  • Domain / brand URL ready

Create one project that tracks the same keywords across Google and additional engines (Yahoo, AI, Locals, and more).

Steps

  1. Open Projects and choose New project (requires project.create).
  2. Enter the primary domain and project name.
  3. In the search-engine step, enable Google and any additional engines you need.
  4. For Google, pick ranking depth (top 20 or top 30) — see Top 20 vs top 30.
  5. Add the initial keyword set and finish the wizard.
  6. Confirm engines on the project dashboard; edit later with project.update if needed.

Outcome

The project runs scheduled check jobs per engine. Rankings appear on dashboards after the first successful jobs complete.
