Pause one keyword
Pause tracking for a single keyword without removing it from the project.
Prerequisites
- project.update or keyword manage permission on the workspace
Pause a keyword so upcoming via job checks skip it while keeping history and configuration intact.
Steps
- Open the project and go to the keywords table.
- Locate the keyword (search or filter as needed).
- Open the row actions menu and choose Pause.
- Confirm the status badge shows paused.
Outcome
Paused keywords are excluded from subsequent check jobs until you resume them. Historical ranks remain available for reporting.
