Google AI Mode is the supported Google AI engine. Do not confuse it with the in-app AI Overview / Rankings dashboard. Prefer Google AI Mode when you need a Google AI surface.

Practical tips

  • Track the engines your buyers actually use; each engine × country pair adds trackings and credit use.
  • Brand name + variations are required for mention detection across engines.
  • Compare engines on AI Overview / Rankings and the AI engines table (tracked prompts, you-appear %, avg mention rank, top-answer %).
