Org owner vs workspace member roles

How org owners differ from workspace members: organization-owner controls vs one workspace role for day-to-day work.

Organization owners control the account. Workspace members operate inside one or more client workspaces under a single workspace role.

Org owner (account scope)

Owners manage billing profile, package view, credit administration, Role Management (custom roles), whitelabel/branding, organization notification settings, and audit export. These capabilities are not granted by stacking workspace permissions — they stay owner-only in v1.

Workspace member

Each membership has one workspace role. That role decides project, keyword, analysis, report, tools, invite, and GSC permissions inside that workspace. A powerful Agency Manager role still cannot open Billing or Role Management.

Why the split matters

Agencies can invite client viewers and SEO operators without exposing invoices, package limits, email delivery channels, or role CRUD.
