How to verify SSL for a custom domain

Verify SSL for a RankWatch whitelabel custom domain after DNS records pass.

Prerequisites

  • Organization owner; whitelabel package feature when gated
  • DNS CNAME/TXT already verified

SSL issuance follows successful DNS verification in the whitelabel wizard. Do not share the portal URL until HTTPS is ready.

Steps

  1. Open Whitelabel for the domain in progress.
  2. Confirm CNAME/TXT checks are green.
  3. Start or wait for SSL issuance / verification in the wizard.
  4. When SSL shows issued, finish/publish the whitelabel portal if prompted.
  5. Visit https://your-custom-hostname and confirm the certificate and branding load.
  6. Only then send client invites that use whitelabel-only access.

Outcome

Clients can securely open your branded hostname over HTTPS.
