How to add search engines to a project

Add SEO search engines and locations to an existing RankWatch project.

Prerequisites

  • Workspace membership with project.create or project.update as required

Each SEO tracking context is a search engine + location (and device where applicable). Add only what you will actively maintain — each tracking consumes credits.

Add search engines
Edit search engines — add or manage engines on the project.

Steps

  1. Open Projects → project → settings / search engines management.
  2. Add the search engine and location combinations you need for organic rankings.
  3. Do not expect Local SEO / Maps create flows — Local create is not available yet.
  4. Save, then add or map keywords for the new engine context from Rankings.
  5. Confirm the new context appears in project navigation and that first crawls are queued.

Outcome

The project tracks additional SEO engine/location contexts. Credit usage rises with keyword × frequency on each new tracking.
