How to bulk import keywords

Import many keywords at once into a RankWatch SEO context using paste or CSV from the Add keywords flow.

Prerequisites

  • Project with SEO tracking and keyword.update
  • Keyword list ready (one per line or CSV)

Load a large keyword set in one pass from Rankings. Prefer a clean one-keyword-per-line list; use CSV when you already have a file export.

Steps

  1. Open Projects → project → Rankings → Add keywords.
  2. Paste import: paste a multiline block into the keyword field — RankWatch stages one keyword per line in the draft table.
  3. CSV import: choose Import CSV (or the equivalent file control), select a .csv file, and map/confirm the keyword column if prompted.
  4. Review the draft table: remove bad rows, apply bulk tags or topics if needed, then submit.
  5. Resolve any duplicate / validation messages, then confirm the new rows on Rankings.

Outcome

All accepted keywords are queued for tracking on the selected context. Large imports increase scheduled check volume — watch org credit balance and package tracking limits after the first jobs run.
